Personality and Appearance
Yutaka Zhong is Konata's cousin and Yui's younger sister. She is half Chinese and half Japanese, and is the dimwitted version of Chun-Li. Born as Yutaka Kobayakawa, she was changed to Yutaka Zhong when Yutaka grew interest in Chinese culture. She first appeared in episode fourteen in the anime when she was admitted into Ryou High School and moves to live with Konata to help with the commute. She has been known to be quite sickly which has impacted her school life, but she remains cheerful nonetheless. She befriends Minami Iwasaki, Hiyori Tamura, and Patricia Martin at school. She has pink short pigtails (similar to Madoka Kaname from Puella Magi Madoka Magica) and wears a green qipao with a blue border.
Appearances in the Drillimation universe
Yutaka first appeared in Konata turns her teacher into a cat/detention at house as a cameo appearance. She also appeared in Konata and Friends go to Space during a student council meeting. She wants to go to space, but Konata does not allow her to come to space since this was only for Konata, the Hiiragi twins, and Miyuki. She does not appear in the rest of the Drillimation.
Appearances in Super Smash Keyboards
Yutaka made her debut appearance in Super Smash Keyboards 2 as a secret character. She was later already unlocked in Super Smash Keyboards 3.
Like in the anime, Yutaka always wore a green qipao with a blue border around it.
In Super Smash Keyboards 3, Yutaka wears a green leotard with gray qipao over the leotard with a black sash tied.
Trivia
- In the Lucky Star episode A Distance From Here, Yutaka sang the opening theme from the Namco game Mojipittan in the ending credits.
