Mario is a Plumber and a Hero, who always saves Princess Peach from the evil King Bowser. He is Luigi's twin brother, though Mario is the older of the two by a few minutes, as stated on Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. He is also smaller and slightly more broader than Luigi. It should also be noted that he is technically a former antagonist as he once kidnapped Donkey Kong (now known as Cranky Kong) in revenge, for what he done to Pauline.
GoAnimate life
Mario has an arch-rival in Wario; though in GoAnimate, the two have a friendly rivalry, and are both on good terms with each other. The same could be said about him and Donkey "DK" Kong. In OliverWestern's videos, he lives with Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Rosalina, Toad, and Toadette, with OliverWestern as his legal guardian; he also works at Barnhurst Prison on a part-time basis, as mentioned in Episode 15, while staing on with his friends, as seen in Episode 17, where (off screen) he told his teacher that Pauline (his ex-girlfriend in OliverWestern's videos, but are still best friends) was late due to the need of changing out of her Gymnasium clothing. He was once falsely imprisoned by the troublemakers, but he was compensated by being allowed to watch the troublemakers getting grounded for their actions (Episode 10).

Dr. Mario is the alter-ego of Mario. In the Dr. Mario series, he uses multi-coloured pills to eliminate the virus. In the main series, Dr. Mario wears white jacket, shirt and tie, and white trousers alongside his plumber shoes. However, in the Super Smash Bros. series, his white trousers are replaced by black jeans (mainly to prevent his white trousers from getting ripped). He also attacks his opponents with vitamins, instead of fireballs. Unlike Mario himself, Dr. Mario does not wear his signature red cap. Instead, he wears a doctor's head-band.

Dislikes: Villans like Browser, Dark Princess Peach (in GPD's Version; they divorced), getting grounded (luckily he rarely gets grounded because he avoids to get into trouble).
